The bike tours around the city were a highlight. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken most of the time, forcing us to walk up many flights. The room had a strange smell and lacked basic toiletries. Breakfast options were very limited, but staff were friendly and tried to help.

Location is fantastic, just steps from the Magnificent Mile. Rooms are smaller than expected, and housekeeping was inconsistent. Loved the bike tours nearby, great way to explore! Valet parking is pricey at $60 per day. it’s okay for a quick stay.

Perfect location near shopping and dining. Room was clean, but very small and lacked a microwave. Check out the nearby bike tours for fun city exploration! Elevator was slow at times.

Great location and clean rooms. Elevator often full and hallways need cleaning.

fantastic service, fantastic location with incredibly comfortable beds and friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs, including lending us a wheelchair free of charge during our stay.
Not one thing.

The room was very clean, with a fresh scent throughout. The hard surface floors were a pleasant change from carpet. The recently renovated bathroom featured white subway tiles and stylish fixtures, although the shower head could use an upgrade. The bed was quite comfortable; the covers provided just the right warmth. I appreciated the quiet, especially for a light sleeper—only occasional elevator dings disturbed the peace. The corner room offered two windows and decent views. The location was ideal, just a block from the Magnificent Mile. the lack of a refrigerator or microwave was a bit inconvenient.

Spacious room with comfortable beds and a great shower. The coffee machine was a nice touch, though it had some quirks. Staff were friendly, and the location was unbeatable for exploring. The elevators were slow, and I had a bit of a hiccup with the room amenities—initially lacking a microwave and fridge. On one disruptive night, I was startled awake by someone trying to enter my room, which was unsettling. Housekeeping was inconsistent, but they eventually sorted it out. Despite some bumps, I'd definitely consider staying here again for the convenience and comfort.

This hotel is just a short walk from iconic spots like Millennium Park, the Art Institute, and the bustling Michigan Avenue, making it super easy to explore the city on foot and soak in everything Chicago has to offer, plus the nearby grocery and dining options were really convenient for grabbing quick meals; the room had great amenities including a mini fridge and microwave that came in handy for my dietary needs, but the elevators can get congested during busy times.

The place was a total letdown. The tiny rooms felt cramped, and there was no mini fridge. Plus, the elevator was out of service, so waiting for the one that worked was a nightmare. I'd skip this one!

The view from the room is pretty nice, especially at sunset. The front desk staff is friendly and check-in is smooth, plus the discounted parking is a bonus.
The room setup feels cramped, making it tough to relax.

The staff was super friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The wedding ceremony setup was beautiful and made the day feel special.
It wasn’t cheap, but it’s worth the experience.

Location is unbeatable. A quick stroll to Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile. Ideal for my needs. The hotel staff shine. They genuinely care for your comfort and go the extra mile. Rooms are spacious enough for two, with a clean bathroom and excellent amenities. Loved the coffee machine. The gym, though small, had all essentials. some issues marred the experience. The heater was inconsistent, prompting unwelcome time in the lobby. The hotel’s non-smoking policy seemed overlooked. If management can address these concerns, this place has great potential. I’d return, but with reservations.

Had a fun Easter stay with good location near cool spots. The affordable parking and big Starbucks nearby were handy. Rooms comfy enough for friends or a couple.
Not much soundproofing, rooms could use an update. Breakfast was just OK. Some improvements needed in service quality for a more premium feel.

Had a room with a killer view, spotlessly clean and those beds were like sleeping on clouds! The staff were super friendly and on the ball. can't beat that top-notch location, right smack dab in the heart of everything you'd wanna check out! Easy peasy to hop on over to all the cool spots in no time.
Room was a bit tighter than I thought, and seriously missed having a fridge. Not cool having to buy drinks daily when I could've stored 'em myself.

Stayed at a charming hotel in a convenient location with great city views. Enjoyed the local restaurants nearby and the walking distance to popular attractions.
Loved the wake-up calls from the construction crane next door.

The heating in the room worked well, keeping us cozy on chilly Chicago nights. the air conditioning seemed a bit inconsistent, and we had some trouble regulating the temperature to our liking. We were pleased to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a nice touch for early mornings or relaxing evenings in. The free Wi-Fi was a convenient amenity, allowing us to stay connected during our stay. The sink in the bathroom was clean and functional, and the free toiletries provided were a nice addition. The hairdryer came in handy, but it would have been even better if it had a bit more power. The AM/FM alarm clock was a useful addition for early wake-up calls, and the flat-screen TV provided some entertainment during downtime. the channels were a bit limited, and we wished there were more options available. We appreciated the option for laundry services, although we didn't end up using them during our stay. The valet parking was convenient, although it was a bit pricey compared to self-parking options in the area. Unfortunately, we didn't receive a welcome drink upon arrival, which we had been looking forward to based on other reviews.

Great location near Michigan Avenue and tourist spots. The bathroom and bed were okay, and the lobby was fine. The front desk staff gave excellent recommendations. However, the room was small and the elevator was slow. I will recommend this hotel.

we loved the location one block off magnificent mile at saint clair - magnificent mile. the staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. the comfortable beds with a variety of pillow choices and clean restrooms with fluffy towels made our stay enjoyable. the hotel's proximity to bus stops and the many restaurants in the area suited us well.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes 🙁

I chose Saint Clair - Magnificent Mile for its proximity to Navy Pier, and I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi and easy access to Chicago's renowned restaurants.
Dirty and outdated rooms.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The rooms were clean and the beds were out of this world comfortable, making for a fantastic night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to major Chicago attractions and the red line el system, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early and store our bags after check out. The free Wi-Fi in the room was a bonus, keeping us connected throughout our stay.
One thing that could have been better was the attitude of one of the staff members. She was rude and unhelpful during check-in, which put a damper on the overall experience.
Good
